Perfect beach getaway!

This spot is right on the beach, a major plus! Enjoyed chilling on the outdoor patio with breakfast, such a nice view! The staff were super friendly. Only thing is that dinner options were a bit limited.

Modern accommodation, ideal location right on the beachfront, absolutely excellent breakfast. Excellent service from the attentive, caring staff members. Breakfast with omelettes and European styles of food. Excellent pool, parking on-site. By the way, parking fee - gbp 17 per day. What a lovely stay, no complaint...

Very polite and friendly staff. The whole hotel is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast is rich and tasty.

The hotel was right on the beach at the end of the main road. There were beautiful views of the castle and rocks on the coast. There was close proximity to town. The staff were relatively friendly. The hotel had wifi in certain public rooms and even on the beach BUT not in the bedrooms!??

The hotel was in need of repair and overall upkeep. There were stains everywhere, -- on the carpet, the overbedding, the walls. We came early in the season and we constantly heard the sound of hammering and sanding. The pool and hot tub were dirty. The breakfast very basic. The rooms smelled of wet cement. I was surprised this was rated 3 stars and that it is a Best Western! For this the room was overpriced.

Yes, breakfast was delicious, what I've been missing is a better cereal. The mattresses were OK.

Fine Beach Views and Relaxing Atmosphere

We enjoyed amazing views from our Premium Double Room with Partial Sea View, perfect for watching the sunset each evening. The breakfast was really good, with a wide variety of fresh fruits, pastries, and made-to-order omelettes that fueled our days. The bar area's ambiance was good was nice. The only downside was the parking fee, a bit unexpected for a hotel of this caliber.

The hotel is very pleasant--the room and public areas were clean and bright. The location is great--right at the end of a very nice beach, with a great view of the Vila Vela, the castle at the other end of the beach.

Unfortunately there was construction work directly on the terrace. The breakfast could be a little bit more extensive (possibly still several kinds of bread).

Recommend it for couples

We had a full sea view room that was fine , woke up every morning to the sound of waves crashing. The breakfast buffet was to die for , with a wide range of foods , even for a veggie like me.

It was a bit expensive , around £300 a night but worth it for the experience.

The situation is excellent, right on the beach. The whole of Tossa is easily accessible from the hotel. To get to Tossa , a direct bus from estaccion nord in Barcelona , abt 1 hr 15 , cost +/- 11 e each way

The hotel looks tired, certain areas need a coat of paint and a good clean ;also some of the facilites did not work; Engish language tv, the internet connection was fixed on the last day , the poolside showers needed attention; many of the flower pots had old or dead plants. Despite this a very enjoyable stay. On a hot day the walk to the bus station with suit cases can be sweaty and the taxi fare is exagerated in relation to the distance. I asked the hotel to advise on the easiest way to get there from Barcelona. I did not get a reply. The in-room tea/coffee service is not replenished without a special request.
